VERY RARE original 1978 (maybe made in 1977?) Sterling Sound, Inc. METAL ACETATE! 1790 Broadway, New York City 10019 address on the labels. No run-out etchings of any kind on either side.  Lacquer disc has numerous faint surface sleeve scuffs/scratches on either side. No deep scratches that I can feel that would affect playback. Disc has not been cleaned for the buyer to do so at their discretion. There is a very tiny 3mm "chip" at the very outer edge that is nowhere near the grooves (pictured). Housed in a generic manilla paper sleeve. Sleeve has a split middle of bottom edge, wear along the top/open edge and a slight bend/crease at on elf the top corners. Will ship in a generic outer cardboard sleeve for added protection. "Acetates are usually made by dubbing from a master recording in another medium, such as magnetic tape. In the vinyl record manufacturing process, a lacquer master disc is cut and electroforming is used to make negative metal molds from it; certain molds are converted into stampers, can be used to press thousands of vinyl copies of the master.
