Grading records is a subjective endeavor, however, with more than 30-years of record selling experience, we are pretty spot-on and meticulous with our grading. We following the “Goldmine Standard” of Mint (usually only sealed records), Near Mint (NM), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good Plus (G+). Occasionally we include an in-between grade (such as VG++ or Strong VG) when appropriate.

We understand the importance of ensuring our products reach you in the same condition they left us. Each record is packed using professional record mailers with additional padding. We also remove the record from its sleeve to prevent seam splits during transit.

Due to the unique nature of our inventory, we're unable to reserve items. All our records are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Planetary Sounds is always buying collections, big and small. While we understand it’s rare to have a detailed list of your collection (though we like those!), please provide as much relevant information as possible, including video or photos. We’ll take a look and get back to you right away.

Yes, we offer a return or exchange within 14 days of purchase if you're not completely satisfied with your record. The item must be in the same condition that you received it. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, if we missed something, we'll cover the return cost -- let's talk!
