IRON BUTTERFLY HEAVY~SVG+ 1968 PURPLE/TAN ATCO LABEL FIRST PRESS LP~PSYCH ROCK Media: LP Condition: Strong VG+ to VG++ Cover Condition: Strong VG to VG+ Label: ATCO Reference Number : SD 33-227 Country: US Date: 1968 Original 1968 STEREO U.S. pressing on tan and purple ATCO labels with "Distributed by Atco Record Sales, 1841 Broadway, New York, N. Y." rim text. Monarch pressing plant and Longwear Plating markings in the dead wax run-outs (circled 'MR' stamp and 'LW' etching) and 'MO' suffix on the labels. Vinyl has several faint surface sleeve scuffs/hazing on either side and several faint surface scratches on side 2 just holding grade back, nothing I can feel. Labels have a hint of wear and a couple faint spindle marks around the center holes. Original ATCO catalog inner sleeve has seam splitting at the middle of the bottom/side edges and a slightly smushed/bent bottom corner. Cover has light cornerwear/edgewear, light bumps at the right side corners, ringwear/hazing and "2-" written in pen top right corner of front cover.
