Original 1980 Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Los Angeles pressing (two star/asterisk stamps in dead wax run-outs) MONO pressing complete with printed inner sleeve. FIRST cover variation with embossed photo on the front cover, no George Martin producer credit bottom left corner of back cover, and under "Helter Skelter" on the back cover there is a text error that says "...so you don't hear the classic Lennon statement..."
Vinyl has numerous light surface sleeve scuffs/hazing and some heavy scuffing in two spots through the first two tracks on side 2 (one spot pictured) holding grade down. Labels have wear. Original inner sleeve has a hint of cornerwear/edgewear and a small seam split center of bottom edge. Embossed gatefold cover with butcher shot on the inside has a hint of cornerwear/edgewear, faint discoloration/yellowing along the spine edge, a tiny image rip near the center of left edge on back cover, a touch of spidering/creasing at the top right corner of back cover, and a hint of ringwear on the back cover.
