The idea was to show that vinyl was still king and sounded just as good--or better--than CDs. MOST Quiex pressings were marked as Quiex that were shipped to radio. If too many were pressed, they were packaged as regular LPs and those lucky enough to unknowingly buy them were then blessed with clearer sound! RARE, LIMITED EDITION "Quiex II" translucent (when held to light) high quality virgin vinyl PROMO pressing issued to select radio stations and media/retail offices in the U.S., sent out a few weeks ahead of the retail release. Oval Quiex II sticker as well as the clear "Contains 15 Greatest Hits" HYPE STICKER affixed to the front cover along with the Warner Bros "Lent For Promotion Only" GOLD PROMO STAMP. Includes the original custom card-stock inner sleeve that includes the lyrics.
Vinyl has numerous faint surface sleeve scuffs from the yardstick inner sleeve just holding grade back, nothing I can feel. Labels are excellent with one or two very faint spindle marks. Original inner sleeve is excellent with a hint of cornerwear. Cover has light cornerwear/edgewear, lightly bumped bottom corners, a hint of spidering/creasing along the bottom/spine edges and light ringwear/hazing.
