DEEP GROOVE, THICK Vinyl has some surface scuffs, but nothing I can feel. Strong player with some surface noise in spots, but nothing to detract from the great music here. (A deep cleaning might help. I mean, this album is 70 years old!)
Labels show very light wear and are still crisp and strong.
Cover has NO SPLITS, but does have some light corner and edgewear, and some paper tearing on left side along spine (and one spot top center). This album was formerly housed in one of those books where the albums are pasted in place with glue-backed paper strips. The former owner was careful as could be removing it (he says), but it still tore slightly in places, and some glue residue remains (this could be removed by next owner with heat). Blank back cover also has some glue and slight tearing.
Please see close up photos, and ask for more if needed.

A TRUE RARITY, this is only the second ebay listing in 2020, while 2019 had 1 listing and 2018 only two. In other words, if you want it, BID NOW, as it might be a while before another copy comes along." />

Party After Hours Various: Amos Milburn, Wynonie Harris, Crown Prince Waterford, Velma Nelson

This is an original black vinyl U.S. copy of the 1951 compilation 10" Lp "Party After Hours", Aladdin 703, featuring songs from West Coast jump blues luminaries Amos Milburn, Wynonie Harris, "Crown Prince" Waterford and Velma Nelson This iconic early 1950s R&B collectible is ridiculously rare -- one of LA-based Aladdin Records' first forays into the then-emergent long-playing 33 1/3 album format and about as collectable and exclusive as it gets. Stunningly evocative original artwork: the late-night bar room scene featuring a blues pianist and a dame whiling away the early hours. Includes songs from such West Coast jump blues luminaries as Wynonie Harris, Amos Milburn and "Crown Prince" Waterford and Velma Nelson.
