David Bowie Starting Point (Promo, Sterling)
RARE original 1977 US 1st press PROMO COPY. Blue "Collector Series" labels with SAHS 1699 near bottom of label without "Made in U.S.A." underneath. STERLING stamped in dead wax. Original cover with Union Jack upper left corner has upper right corner cut and a white PROMO sticker on back cover that reads "London Promotional Copy NOT FOR SALE." Vinyl is excellent with a couple very light surface sleeve scuffs, nothing I can feel. Labels are excellent with some faint spindle marks on Side 2 label. Original London inner sleeve has cornerwear, edgewear, upper right corner is cut, creased upper and lower left corners, a rip/tear center of bottom edge, and splitting edges. Cover has heavy cornerwear, edgewear, ringwear, hazing, a ding lower left corner, and upper right corner is cut.
