	View Details		13th Floor Elevators Easter Everywhere (Shrink) Music > LP Condition: VG+ Cover Condition: ALMOST VG++ Label: INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS Reference Number: IALP-5 Country: US Date: 1967 RARE ORIGINAL issue with SHRINKWRAP! This is a first, dark green label, stereo pressing that amazingly still has the shrinkwrap on it. This has prevented the dreaded--and very common--ringwear from taking place. The shrink has some small tears, but nothing major. The only real coverwear is along the opening edge just under the shrink, where there's some handling/fading wear,and the opening edge corners are lightly bumped. The vinyl has some surface scuffs, nothing I can feel. In skipping about the album (I did not play it all) there was some light background noise in quite passages, the occasional pop or crackling. (Again, I did not hear the entire record and cannot attest to the overall sound. Also, I did not clean the album, so that might clean it up and better the sound.) The labels show some light wear. Released in 1981, front cover of LP was signed by entire band. Cover has light ringwear and cornerwear. Vinyl is excellent. Inner sleeve is excellent. Labels are excellent. Here's the CD Baby (partial) bio: German/Anglo/American quintet Break Point came to life in late 1978 from the ashes of popular club acts Crystal Ridge and Twigg. Based in the Frankfurt area the band quickly became the most popular attraction on the lucrative US military club circuit where they played to sold out audiences up to six nights a week. In late-1980 the band borrowed whatever money they could beg from friends and entered Frankfurt's Cream Studios and spent the next month laying down the tracks for the songs that would comprise their "First Serving" album. The nine song effort, which would go on to sell over 5,000 copies at the band's shows over the next few years, was influenced by the likes of Toto, Kansas, Styx and the popular AOR bands of the era. Songs such as the poppy "Hard Road" and "The Best Of Me" along with the quirky "French Fried Kiss" became instant concert favourites while progressive rock fans found a coupling with "Down, Down, Down" and "The Wurst Song."
